We had a great time this past weekend. We really got to enjoy the perfect weather. On Saturday Mark's Mom took some students to the quiz bowl at Iowa State, so we picked up Aunt Erika and drove up to Ames to spend some time with Grandpa Bill while Grandma was busy.

We went to Rieman Gardens to see the gorgeous tulips, butterfly conservatory, and the visiting dinosaur display. Of course Rieman Gardens is special to us since Mark proposed to me there.

Great pics! Daren proposed to me at Rieman Gardens, too, although it had just opened and wasn't as fabulous as it is today.
that's too funny. we had actually thought about going on Saturday rather than Sunday but the kids were loving the pool too much.
that's a great picture in front of the tulips (even though Jacob is missing) - wish I would've thought of a family pic there - ha!
