Today Ryan had his 4 month checkup and immunizations. He is 14 lbs, 11 oz of pure joy! He is a whole pound + smaller than his {younger} cousin, Matthew! He is in the 50th percentile for weight and head circumference, and 90th-ish for length. Tall and skinny, that's what we like to be! (That's what I once was!) This picture was taken last night before our evening walk. Ryan's bear suit is similar to a 12 month one that Jacob had...but lo and behold...it is in the deep dark cave that is...storage. It would be way too big, anyway. Overheard last night on our walk: Jacob, talking to himself: Where's my shoes? Oh, they're in shtorage! Where's my coat? Oh, it's in shtorage! (they are not really, but he's heard it before: Mom, where's my sandbox? "It's in storage, and we'll get it out when we get our new house". Mom, where's my yoader (large JD loader that was too big for the townhouse)? "It's in storage, and you'll get to play with it when we move in to our new house.") Soon, baby, very soon: which brings me to this:
We visited our lot today to find the excavator ready to go. Once our builder gets the city permits in hand, it's go time. Jacob loved looking at the excavator. Too bad he couldn't have seen it in action!
Notice the house in the lot next to us is going up, too! The neighborhood will be pretty much completed by the time we're done.
The house is all staked out. Here is Mark reading the paper in the kitchen. :)Should have the foundation poured by early next week. Good thing it's set to be a gorgeous week!
