Mini Getaway

Mark has been on travel for work quite a bit lately, so last week Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday we decided to go with him and stay in Davenport. We had a great time- we went to the Niabi Zoo, which was a nice little zoo on Thursday, and then on Friday we went to Bettendorf to the Family Museum, which I was very impressed with. Jacob and Ryan had a blast there, it is perfect for the little tykes! I thoroughly enjoyed it as well, watching their excitement and watching them play. Grandma B. joined us both days and we really enjoyed our time together!

We went out for supper with Grandpa & Grandma B. in LeClaire and they had some putt putt tractors on the street.

Ryan loved the stuffed sheep at the museum-everything was just his size!

Yep, we had a great time!

On an unrelated note, I thought I'd share a picture of Jacob's fat lip:

Even Superman has a mishap every now and then. Poor baby tripped and smacked his face on the tile floor. His teeth are a little loose, but thankfully we didn't lose them or break them!
