Our 4th of July Weekend

We had a great 4th of July weekend-we got to celebrate all weekend! On Friday afternoon the boys and I went swimming with Brandon and Angie, Emma, Madie, and Matthew. Then they came over and we grilled and did sparklers. What a fun day. Matthew and Ryan on the Gator:
Saturday was pretty boring. We didn't really do much since it was rainy. We ended up going to church and I did a bit of shopping at the mall. On Sunday it literally rained on our parade, so we decided to possibly go to a movie but the mall and the theater were packed. So we got some groceries and went home only to find out that our neighbors had cancelled their big party that we were planning on going to because of the rain. Not that I blame them! So last minute we called up some friends and had a little party of our own. Turns out the rain had cancelled a lot of peoples' plans! Funny thing is they kept calling for heavy rain and it barely drizzled that night. Some party pics:

Linda and Kenzie:
Babies meeting: Liam, meet Lhotse. Lhotse, Liam.
Jacob loved having friends over to play with.
Mommy and Ryan
Friends, Firepit and Fireworks!
On Monday Emma, Madie, and Matthew came to our house for a bit so we took in the rescheduled local parade. It was still a bit rainy but we didn't get too wet.
Then Uncle Mark decided we needed to go to Dairy Queen after the parade.
To end the weekend with a finale, Mark took Jacob to Star Wars Live in Concert downtown which they both loved. So there you have it, our weekend summed up in a really long blog post!
